February 15, 2001 - HISCOCK, Malvina (Chaytor) - Passed peacefully away, Thursday, February 15th, 2001, at the Glenbrook Lodge, aged 82, Malvina (Chaytor) Hiscock in the presence of Eli, her loving husband of 54 years and her daughters: Marie (Don) Rowe and Loretta (Gary) Day. Also lovingly remembered by her stepson George and wife Lorraine; grandchildren: Jonathan, David and Matthew Rowe; Stephen and Michael Day; Darlene Hiscock and Bonnie Hiscock-Gulliver; three great-grandchildren: Tyler, MacKenzie and Jeffrey; brothers-in-law George and Sylvester Hiscock of St. Chad`s; sister-in-law Hannah Chaytor of St. Chad`s; special niece Nancy (John) Troke of Eastport and many nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Barrett`s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. Visiting hours 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday; 10 a.m. to 12 Noon, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday; 10 a.m. to 12 Noon, Sunday. Funeral service Sunday, February 18th, 2001, at 2:30 p.m. at The Salvation Army Temple, Torbay Road. Internment at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Glenbrook Lodge.

March 26, 1999 - GOSSE, Marjorie (nee Hiscock) - Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on Friday, March 26, 1999, Marjorie Gosse of Paradise in her 82nd year. Predeceased by her loving husband Martin Gosse; sisters, Winnifred, Violet and Lillian; brothers, Douglas and Fred Hiscock. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, five daughters: Cynthia Gosse, Linda (Evan) Noseworthy, Hamilton, Ont., Elizabeth (Wayne) Clarke, Sandra (Wayne) Porter, Edmonton, Alta. and Ilene (Ron) Penney; seven sons: Calvert (Betty), Lawrence (Janette), Fred (Carol), William (Patsy), Trenton, Ont., Harrison ÒBobÓ (Shirley), Rick (Sharon) and Tony (Yvonne); 22 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, special niece Sylvia, sisters-in-law, Sarah Drover, Annie Gosse, Lillian Gosse and Lydia Hiscock; brother-in-law, Charlie (Mary) Gosse, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell`s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. Visitations on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday, March 29, 1999 at 2 p.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at the Christian Organization Cemetery, Paradise. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
